Radius Technology Group and Dale Carnegie Training® complete IT Security Training Contract for Nuclear Regulatory Commission

February 28, 2007 - Washington, DC - Dale Carnegie Training®, a leading global provider of business training solutions, teamed with prime contractor Radius Technology Group, an (8a) Certified small business, has delivered classroom-based IT security training to employees of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to address critical aspects of security and IT data, augmenting on-line courses used by the agency.

Working under a contract awarded June 30, 2006, Dale Carnegie Training, in partnership with Radius Technology Group, completed IT security awareness training for 3,700 NRC employees at their headquarters and in 4 regions. Dale Carnegie Training designed a tailored solution to meet the agency's requirements and objectives, integrating IT security expertise into a Carnegie methodology to ensure measurable results.

"Over a four month period we delivered role based training to a cross-functional employee base resulting in a greater than 95% meets or exceeds rating for mandatory IT security training," states Chris McCloskey, Center Director, Dale Carnegie's Federal Government Center of Excellence. "The Carnegie solution was devised to not only meet objectives, but to offer tools to the participants that were transferable beyond the classroom to foster an attitude of vigilance in the workplace."

As a result of the training, the NRC was able to address their goals of meeting FISMA mandatory objectives and increase their ability to identify potential problem areas. By engaging Dale Carnegie Training®, Radius Technology Group was able to provide an ISO delivery methodology grounded on the DCT triangle of success.
